Video & Quotes from the boss following Saturday's defeat...
- Maamria on where it went wrong…
“In all honestly I take full responsibility for it. I had been dwelling on it during the week, we had a long journey on Tuesday to Forest Green where we came back a 4am, I tried to get them back together and I should have changed the team.
“We looked lethargic in the first half. We looked like we had been on a 7 hour journey yesterday and a 6 hour journey on Tuesday night. That is exactly how we looked. I should have changed the team, I know better now and we learn from it.”
- Maamria on a much better second half…
“In the second half to be fair we dominated the game, I can’t believe we didn’t score goals. It was good to see Danny Newton coming back fit, he should have had two of three. We created a lot of chances in the second half.
“Even with 10 men I thought we kept playing the football we want to be playing, we stuck to what we are trying to do and the second half was pleasing.”
- Maamria on the strength of Yeovil…
“They didn’t surprise me. I watched Yeovil three times and they have had a good start to the season.
“I watched them demolish Notts County a week ago on Friday, 4-0. They are a pressing team, they have got lots of energy, they have got a good front four, they have got pace about them, they are resolute and solid at the back - they are a good team. Nothing surprised me about them.”
- Maamra on Timlin’s red card…
“That is disappointing. He was apologetic there about it. I love working with him, he is a brilliant player and he is infectious in the dressing room. At his age and with his experience he shouldn’t have put himself in a position like that but we learn and move on."
