Dino reacts...

  • Dino on the three points…

“I knew it was going to be a tough game today, people expect us to just turn up and win but it is League Two and the team was fighting for their lives.

Morecambe obviously did not have the best start, I knew they would be determined today to put that right. To be fair we were cruising for most of the game, the messy bit was between 45 minutes and 60 minutes.

We made the change with Ben Kennedy coming on and we got back on top of the game and we were comfortable. “

  • Dino on a great team performance…

“I think as a team we cannot single anybody out. Farman was great in goal, Scott Cuthbert and Ben Nugent running all the time, I think Luther had a fantastic game, Hunty had a brilliant game, his best game probably.

In the middle of the park I think James Ball had his best game despite not scoring. Timlin scored a great goal, Joel Byrom dictated play throughout the game.

Kurtis Guthrie did not have any pre-season and you saw how he finished the game, he was brilliant. I thought Sonupe was bright as well, and so was Kenners when he came on. I thought as a team today, everybody put a shift in and that’s why we got the win.”

  • Looking forward…

“It is one game at a time, it is a process and now we will regroup, get ready, pick a team for Tuesday’s game against Forest Green.

It is going to be another tough game; the games are coming thick and fast. We have got to be careful, we have to make sure everybody is fit, everybody is hungry, everybody is determined, everybody is resilient like it showed and we will be fine.”
