This season the Club has launched an exciting new marketing campaign to engage with the town by distributing 44,000 letters to its residents and those in surrounding villages...
Written by the Club’s First Team Manager Dino Maamria, the Residents Letter is aimed at encouraging the towns residents to engage with the football club, by offering two tickets for just £10!
Five of the eight games available for the offer have now passed with just three more coming up, starting this Saturday at home to Mansfield Town.
- Sat 22nd December: Mansfield Town (3pm)
- Sat 12th January: Crawley Town (3pm)
- Sat 26th January: Forest Green (3pm)
The offer is open to any residents, of any age, in any stand, upon production of their Residents Letter and proof of address at the Stevenage FC Club Shop.
Visit us this week on Thursday and Friday between 10am-7pm or on Matchday between 12pm-3pm.
Commenting of the campaign CEO Alex Tunbridge stated, "The Residents Letter campaign provides us with an opportunity for the first time to fully reach out to the residents of the town and to educate and remind them about their local football club.
"For the Club to have had an average home attendance of just 2,611 last season, in a town of 88,000 residents, it suggests that something is not working.
"We are seeking to improve our stadium, matchday experience and engagement with the community on a daily basis, in a bid to become further embedded and valued within our community. We now need the people of the town to come and play their part in supporting their local club."
The Residents Letters will be distributed to 44,000 selected homes within the town and surrounding villages during September. The ticket offer can be redeemed in person upon production of the Residents Letter and Proof of Address from the Club Shop.
Upon redemption, townsfolk will receive a handy Matchday Guide that includes three vouchers to use upon their visit, including a drinks and club shop coupon, along with the chance to win a Season Ticket for 2019/20.
