Video & Quotes ahead of Saturday's trip to Chesterfield...

  • On getting back to full fitness...

“I am getting fitter as the games go on, of course. The club have also looked after me.

“When I needed a rest, they have given me a rest. Whenever they feel the time is right to take me off, they take me off.

“They have treated me well and they are building me up slowly to where I can just let myself go, but I am just trying to stay injury-free as much as I can.

"I have had a run of games now so hopefully i can continue that.

"So I am still getting fitter as the days go on and I am sure I will get to my peak one day."

  • On aiming to end run of away games without a win...

“Of course we got the point at Morecambe, a last minute goal from Fraser which was obviously good to get at least a point away.

“But we want that three, no matter what game it is. Whether it is home or away, we always go out there to win three points and that is the key for Saturday - three points.

“Every game we try and do our best and sometimes it does not come off, every footballer has their bad days.

“When we are on our game I think we can beat anyone.

“No one wants to lose, every hates losing. You lose Saturday and you have ruined your weekend, everybody knows that.

“You have to come in on Monday with a fresh mind-set and try to forget about it, but it is hard to and we know we are not in a great position.

“We are hopefully going to get our away record back on track and then we will kick on from there."

  • On making more than 100 appearances for the First Team...

“There has been a lot of ups and downs, i'll tell you that! I could be sitting here with 150 if I did not get my injuries, but there is nothing I can do about that.

“But 100 games, I never would of thought it. I just turned 21 and putting in my 100th game is a dream come true. Even my first game was a dream come true.

“I set an example for all the young ones coming through that they have got a chance, this club believes in young players.

“Look at Ben Wilmot and Mark McKee, they are getting a run of games now. There is also Andronicos, Jamie Gray - there are a lot of young players coming through.

"I try to help the young ones whenever I can. I tell them to just play their game and you never know who is watching but you do not need to think about that.

"For any youngster, they should be working hard on the training ground and they will get their chance."
