Video & Quotes from the boss ahead of Saturday's game...

  • Sarll on the Transfer Window...

“We just have to wait and be ready to pounce, but it is quite a frustrating month. It is a very, very, long month because you want to do business but you want to do the right business.

“Once that window shuts at the end of January, what is in the building is in the building and they are taking you through until the end of May.

“So it is important that you get it right, but it is quite a long arduous month and I do quite enjoy it. I enjoy the chase and the demand to quickly pick up the laptop and check on players.

“Glenn, myself, Leon, the Chairman - we all pile our thoughts in and hopefully get it right.

“In the past where we have all contributed to those decisions they have normally come off."

  • Sarll on the FA Cup draw & upcoming replay...

“Until we are there, I am not that bothered.

“We all know Man United away in the next round would switch on and trigger the imagination.

“But even if it was Man United, we still wouldn’t be playing Man United, we are playing Reading.

“I have too many games to worry about for what is an imaginary game at the moment.

“I am looking forward to playing Reading, I am looking forward to playing Morecambe.

“But it will be nice to go to such a stadia like the Madejski. It is different and sometimes different can be the most inspiring.

“Reading’s pitch seems like a massive surface compared to the tight Lamex Stadium, so it will be an interesting game."

  • Sarll on staying calm regarding the league campaign...

“Obviously we want to make sure we get as high as we can. I still think we are a top ten side, I still think by the end of the season we will be in and around that I really do

“It is such a marathon the season, at times it is so hard to see the end of the race

“But when you are calm and reflective, it is a long time and we have so much still to do and so many more ups and downs still to come.

"We know that if we get it together and improve our away form, we have a chance."

  • Sarll on Saturday's trip to the Globe Arena...

"It will be a tough game. I have said it is the past, I think that Jim does up there does a magnificent job.

“Every time Jim gets them in and around half-way or even stays in the division, I think he has done a magnificent job and he should be applauded.

“They try to play up there and they do a terrific job. They play quite open and Morecambe can kind of draw you in when you play against them.

“They did it to us at the end of last season at home and they suck you into a false sense of security.

“What they do have is they always have established players. They know their role, they know their place in the team with big characters.

"Kevin obviously is a big character and we always say pleasantries to each other - that is a highlight of a Saturday afternoon against Morecambe.

"We have had some good times at the Globe Arena in the past, some really big performances and we are going to need one Saturday.”
