Video & Quotes from the boss ahead of Saturday's big cup tie...

  • Sarll on playing at home...

“It has been a while since we have had a proper Third Round cup tie and it is one we are very much looking forward to.

“It is a fixture that is quite close to us really. We have played Reading before in the cup, Nicky Shorey has his old allegiances to the football club, so it is not a too unfamiliar opponent but it will be a very tough game.

“We have been really positive and scored a lot of goals at home of late.

“We are glad it is a home game, we are glad it is a tie at The Lamex, we are glad it is in our tight stadium and we are glad it is in front of our supporters.

“We feel very good about ourselves coming into the Lamex and playing at the minute, so I think whether it be home or away,  it is still a Championship Club. It is still a massive organisation and it will be a tough game. They have some very good players."

  • Sarll on an exciting occasion...

“It is a game we can go and attack and play without any sort of caution or anxiety.

“It is also a game for the older players who are looking at it and probably thinking, ‘how many more FA Cup Third Rounds have I got?’

“Then if I was a younger player, these are the rounds where I want to make my market because you are normally against the calibre of opponent where your dream to be.

"The win is the most important thing, like every week, but there are no points on offer.

“You can use those individual motivations to get yourself fired up and ready to go.

“It is a massive game for everyone. Then you put it on the larger, broader scale of the club and what these games can do for us.

"In terms of the recognition and financial reward, there are so many things to be highly motivated about."

  • Sarll on the final game for the North Terrace...

"It is a terrific old shed isn't it? I have met many of our supporters on that stand and we attack that end second half for a reason. It will be missed. It will be strange looking left and not seeing it.

"We all know though that the Chairman has a vision and a foresight to make the club better and thankfully everyone supported that North Stand fundraising appeal.

"We can hope for a shiny new stand that inceases our atmosphere and increases the participation that supporters can have at the football club.

"It is going down for a good cause and it will make our club much better."
