Excerpts from the Chairman's programme notes...
- On tomorrow’s game…
“Like us, our opponents lost in the FA Cup on Tuesday night against Championship opposition, after drawing the first game. So we are both now committed to full concentration on the remaining league program, with three points separating us.
“We both need points to make a challenge on the play off places, so it should be an entertaining game.”
- On the Transfer Window…
“The window is still open of course and if we are to do any business it will be in the next ten days.
"I have said before that I don’t like securing players in January, but sometimes you can get lads that will improve you on the right terms and in our case, this is usually in the last few days of the window.”
- On the North Stand…
“The new North stand demolition has begun, although I doubt you’ll be seeing much evidence of that from inside the ground yet. There is an awful lot of work to do before we start removing terraces, metal cladding and buildings.
"We also have to ensure we can still provide for disabled fans as, of course, our disabled section has always been in the north end.
“Back to the match, this is an important game for us and we want to start getting some points on the board to move up the table. Your support is always appreciated so get behind the lads and let’s hear you!”
