At this summer’s EFL General Meeting, it was ruled that the production and sale of Matchday Programmes would no longer be compulsory to member clubs...
The club recognises that Matchday Programmes are an important fabric within English football, however over recent seasons, rising costs and dwindling sales mean that all alternative options will be considered throughout the course of the forthcoming season.
Such options will include a digital download version, which we will be trialling out at this season’s upcoming Checkatrade Trophy fixtures.
This season is your chance to show your support for Matchday Programmes by purchasing on a regular basis, starting with our first match of the regular season, at home to Tranmere Rovers on Saturday 4th August.
The club will be monitoring the support of the programme during the season and urges fans to purchase their copy at each game. Please note that the club will not be producing Mini Programmes for pre-season fixtures.
