  • Sarll on the bitter end to the game…

“The thing that hurts me the most is that when we are seeing the game out we have got more experienced players on the pitch.

“It is not like they are young lads and as a group they are struggling to get to grips with it.

“The manner in which we did not see that out is appalling, absolutely appalling and I am furious."

  • Sarll's overview of the draw…

“When you are on this surface you need a proper front two that can obviously play up against two centre backs. Bowditch did terrifically well to come in and do 60 minutes, playing a little bit injured.

“I thought we were doing okay, I wanted us to improve so we started second half alright, I thought we was a bit better.

“Their first goal was a right footed full back cutting in on his left and hitting in top corner from 25 yards, it was one of them days

“So obviously we invited pressure on ourselves and the way we did not manage the game, moments leading up to that second goal was stomach churning and ultimately the ball ends up in the box and they took their chance."

  • Sarll on the disappointing outcome of the game…

“Dean is a very good player, the first goal I thought was some excellent play, real quality.

“But there are no positives, we walked out as a team today, we walked out as a club and we have to walk back in as a club and we should have won the game.

“We have not been beaten, but it should be three points, it should absolutely be three points."
