The 6th annual Mitchell Cole Memorial tournament - organised by Stevenage Supporters Association FC - is taking place on Saturday 12th May 2018 at the Armadillo Stadium, home of Arlesey Town FC.
The day will consist of an 11-a-side tournament between six teams, including the SSAFC and a Cole XI, consisting of Mitchell’s family and friends and picked by Mitchell's brother, Ben.
The games will last 21 minutes (Mitch's number at Stevenage) and the winners will take home the Mitchell Cole Memorial Trophy.
The first game starts at 10am and the event is expected to wrap up at around 4pm.
There will also be various activities on hand for people of all ages, and the Mitchell Cole Raffle with plenty of footballing and non-footballing prizes on offer.
The main aim of the day is to raise as much money as possible for Cardiomyopathy UK, a charity which Mitchell worked closely with and offers support for those who suffer from the heart condition which he sadly passed away from.
Last year’s tournament raised a fantastic sum of £2,200 and this year we want to raise even more.
