Former England international Nicky Shorey has left Stevenage FC as part of new manager Dino Maamria’s reorganisation of his backroom staff...
The 37 year old UEFA A license coach brought top level experience to Boro’s training ground and Chairman Phil Wallace has commented on the departure.
“Nicky was brilliant for us. It was his first coaching job but he slotted in right away and his playing experience brought credibility to our recruitment and coaching.
“Most new managers like to bring in their own backroom staff and that is what is happening here, but we would like to thank Nicky for his commitment and dedication whilst he was with us and wish him well for the future.”
