Stevenage duo called up for International Duty

Two Stevenage players have been called up for International Duty and will spend the next week away to play for their respective nations...

Terence Vancooten, representing Guyana, has travelled out to neighbouring French Guiana for a CONCACAF Nation League tournament game between the two sides on Wednesday 21st November 2018. Already capped, 20 year old Vancooten is one of the youngest players in the Guyanan side.

Liam Smyth, representing Northern Ireland U19s, has travelled to Northern Ireland for three big UEFA U19 qualifiers against Poland, Serbia and Kazhakstan. The young pro has just recently signed his first professional contract and already has two caps to his name.

  • Nothern Ireland v Poland - 14/11/18 - Shamrock Park, Portadown
  • Serbia v Northern Ireland - 17/11/18 - The Oval, Belfast
  • Kazakhstan v Northern Ireland - 20/11/18 - Shamrock Park, Portadown

We wish both players the best of luck, who will return to Hertfordshire on Wednesday 21st November, ahead of Stevenage's home clash with MK Dons just a few days later.
