Celebrating the best of Stevenage...

As part of today's Residents Day fixture where we mark the first game that our groundbreaking Residents Letter offer is reedemable for, some very special guests will be visiting the Lamex Stadium.

The Mayor of Stevenage, Margaret Notley and MP for Stevenage, Stephen McPartland will be showing their support as seventh placed Stevenage take on fourth placed Colchester United at 3pm.

Also in attendance will be our most special guests though, as we welcome the winners of the recent Pride of Stevenage Awards.

These incredible people will be presented to the crowd at half-time including 10 year old, Holly Manning who won the 'Young Star' award for her amazing fundraising efforts for various charities.

Holly has raised almost £2,600 herself with help from her family and has completed the Macmillan All Out Swim twice, swimming nearly four kilometers. Holly has also been involved with her football club, Stevenage Starlets FC and raised £2,300 for Breast Cancer Care.

Sandra King, winner of the 'Dedication Award' after 38 years of service to the Symonds Green community and the Nationwide Building Society, winners of the 'Team Award' for their superb charity work will also be guests of the club.

Make sure you don't miss today's big game and don't forget to show your appreciation for the Pride of Stevenage Award Winners at half-time.
