Stevenage Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Supporter Liaison Officer, Matthew Gray on a voluntary basis.
Matthew will act as a bridge between supporters and club in order to help improve fan relations and matchday experiences.
A Stevenage supporter from a young age himself, Matthew says that he is honoured to hold the post.
"I have been a fan for as long as I can remember," Matthew said. "I studied up in Sheffield so some of my favourite memories are beating Sheffield United at home and Sheffield Wednesday away, although unfortunately I also remember the Semi-Final defeat.
"Overall I have plenty of great memories coming down here with friends and family. The East Terrace is my favourite stand and my favourite ever player is Chris Day.
"I just want to make sure that supporters are comfortable in coming to see me or speak to me about anything related to the club. I will be available in-person on Matchdays and throughout the week on email and I hope to start some fresh dialogue between supporters and club."
