  • Onto the game...

Stevenage are looking to make it four games unbeaten on Saturday after home wins against Macclesfield and Grimsby, and a draw at Notts County sandwiched in-between.

At this stage in the season, Stevenage find themselves comfortably positioned in 10th place, with only a four-goal swing denying them a play-off place.

Saturday's game is the first part of a daunting 980 mile double-header as after returning from Carlisle, Maamria's men head South on Tuesday evening to Exeter City.

Both sides have got off to good starts to the season so Boro will have to be at their best in order to pick up their first three points on the road since August 11th when a late Revell double saw off Crawley.

Tipped for play-offs at the start of the season, Carlisle find themselves happily in fifth place, mainly due to their impressive away form, but will need to turn around their performances at home to be in the mix come May.

The Cumbrians have won two and lost two from their last four games, including a 2-0 home defeat to Tranmere Rovers last time out.

John Sheridan, the former three-time Oldham manager has been in charge of The Blues since the summer, after parting company with Fleetwood Town.

Since facing each other in the 2005 Conference Play-Off final, Stevenage and Carlisle have met 14 times in the Football League, with Boro only registering three wins during that spell.

Last season saw a goalless stalemate at The Lamex Stadium, but goals from Ben Kennedy and Tom Pett earnt Stevenage a well-fought three points at Brunton Park.
