  • Onto the game...

Victory against Macclesfield last Saturday was just the tonic needed after back-to-back defeats heading into the contest. It’s important to note that those two defeats are the only ones suffered by Stevenage so far and with the team currently just two points off third place, the camp is feeling good.

After three home games in a row, Boro are back on the road for the first time since August 25th as Maamria and his men look to pick up their second away win of the season.

Stevenage can expect a resurgent County side however as Meadow Lane will be ready to welcome their new manager, Harry Kewell for his first home game in charge.

The former Leeds, Liverpool and Galatasary striker will be in the dug-out despite being sent off during last weekend's 5-1 defeat at Exeter, after accepting a fine.

Installed as one of the early season favourites for promotion, Notts’ winless start to the campaign which see’s them sitting on just one point after seven games has certainly come as a surprise to many.

  • Team News...

Aside from Danny Newton, Kurtis Guthrie and Alex Revell who are all questionable after picking up knocks, the Stevenage squad has a clean bill of health going into the weekend.

  • Officials...

Referee: Ross Joyce

Assistant Referee 1: Alix Pashley

After having never played against each other until 2011, Stevenage and Notts County have become regular opponents with the two sides playing each other each of the last eight seasons.

With just one win from the past seven meetings though, it is a match-up that has been markedly one sided in recent years.
