Stevenage Football Club is seeking to appoint a Supporter Liaison Officer (SLO) for the Club in a voluntary capacity.
SLO's responsibilities are not only to act as a point of contact for supporters, but also to help deliver the Club’s policy with regards to its stakeholders in so far as that policy concerns supporters; and to liaise with the Club’s management in relation to supporter issues.
The individual must be at least 18 years old and will be required to attend all home matches and be approachable to any supporters who have concerns, ideas or feedback for the Club.
In addition, the SLO will be required to attend EFL related seminars and workshops, as well as work with Club staff to help provide solutions and develop new engagement ideas. Travel to away matches is not a necessary requirement however, travel to some away matches is desirable.
The role is estimated to involve an average of 6 hours per week including Matchdays. Further information about the role of an SLO can be found here.
