The Oxfordshire based official took charge of just one Stevenage FC fixture last season, the 1-0 defeat at Exeter which saw him hand out five cautions and one dismissal.
In total, Coggins gave 132 yellow cards and three red cards across 37 games in the EFL last season.
Coggins will be assited by George Byrne and Oliver Jackson, whilst Stephen Brown has been appointed as Fourth Official.
