The Staffordshire-born official refereed two Stevenage fixtures last season, 1-1 draws at Northampton and Oldham, in which he only produced one yellow card in each match.
Throughout 2018/19 in total, Sarginson took charge of 44 fixtures, handing out 138 yellow cards and 5 red cards.
He will be assisted by Gareth Viccars and Andrew Aylott, whilst Lee Venamore is Fourth Official.
