Following promotion from the National League during the Summer, Edwards is refereeing in the EFL for the first time in his career.
Last season he handed out 72 yellow cards and just 1 red card, across 22 matches.
He will be assisted by Anthony Moore and Steven Plane, whilst Ian Smedley is Fourth Official.
