In his first season officiating at the EFL level, Smith has taken charge of 16 games, handing out 45 yellow cards and five red cards.
Smith has already refereed one Stevenage match this season, the 1-0 win at Wycombe in the Leasing.com Trophy, where five cautions were brandished.
He will be joined by Alasdair Ross (Assistant), Louis Marks (Assistant) and Gareth Viccars (Fourth Official).
