Donate to Foodshed at Stevenage vs Crewe on Saturday

16 December 2019

Stevenage Football Club is calling on its supporters to donate their un-needed items to Stevenage Vineyard Church's Foodshed at its Saturday 21st December 2019 fixture against Crewe Alexandra...

Demand on the Foodshed is high as always, so we are appealing to all of our supporters ahead of next Saturday's big game.

Lead Pastor Daniel Barnes said, "The foodshed is a storehouse full of food coordinated by the Stevenage Vineyard Church for those who are in need, struggling or need an act of kindness in a difficult situation.

"We help hundreds of families across Stevenage who are referred to us by agencies and charities based in the area going to those who are in need.

"We are delighted to partner with Stevenage Football Club and really hope that their supporters will pull together to give us a much needed boost."

Donations will be collected from by the Kids' Zone in the West Stand Car Park.

Please note, the following items are of highest priority but any cupboard staples and toiletries would be graciously received.

  • Squash/Juice
  • Tined Meals/Meats/Pies
  • Baby Food
  • Pasta Sauce
  • Tinned Fruit/Vegetables/Soup
  • Washing Powder
  • UHT Milk
  • Sugar
  • Coffee

Whilst Christmas can be the most wonderful time of year, it can also be the toughest for many local people and families. That is why every donation, however small, makes a difference to anyone accessing the Foodshed.
