The brand new North Stand at Stevenage Football Club will be open for the first time for this Saturday's EFL League Two fixture against Crawley Town...
The Club received clearance late yesterday afternoon to open up the seating to supporters.
To meet the requirements of the Club’s Safety Advisory Group (SAG), the North Stand seats will be open to all North Stand Season Ticket holders, however, use of the North Stand internal concourse and Ticket Office will follow at stage 2, hopefully for the Club’s next home game.
With this in mind, toilet and concession provision for all North Stand supporters for the match on Saturday will be provided in the West Stand.
After that, the stand capacity will be increased gradually over games to ensure safety procedures put in place are met in the correct manner.
Considering the capacity and internal restrictions for this first game, the elevated wheelchair platform will not be open and therefore all wheelchair users will be accommodated in the West Stand.
North Stand Season Ticket Holders are requested to access the stand using their Digital Season Ticket through Turnstile 4, with access to Block B, C and D of the stand during this test event. Season Ticket Holders in Block E will be accommodated in Block B.
Please note that no additional ticket sales are available in the North Stand for this fixture, however, the Club hope to be able to increase its capacity in line with SAG approval for the remaining fixtures in December. The new bar facility is nearing completion and anticipated to open in late January/early February.
The Club would like to place on records its thanks to all North Stand Season Ticket Holders for their patience with the North Stand development and we look forward to welcoming you all to a historic day in the Club’s history on Saturday.
