With six First Team players and six U18s currently out with other clubs, it was another busy weekend for the Stevenage loan players…

Despite starting the previous weekend to make his debut for the club, Ben Kennedy was an unused substitute in Newport County’s impressive 1-0 win at home to Mansfield Town on Saturday.

James Ferry suffered the same fate as he watched AFC Halifax Town go down 1-0 at Chesterfield from the bench, whilst Andronicos Georgiou was forced to have the weekend off as Kings Langley’s fixture at home to Hartley FC was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Donovan Makoma and Joe White both played 90 minutes in a 2-0 Biggleswade Town defeat at Stourbridge and recently loaned-out, Alex Reid made his AFC Fylde debut in the 1-1 draw at Maidstone United, coming off the bench with just under 10 minutes to go.

As for the U18s, Hitchin Town’s January Player of the Month Harry Draper played 90 minutes in a 4-1 loss at promotion-chasing Coalville Town. Meanwhile, Dylan Switters wasn’t in action as Kings Langley’s game with Hartley FC was postponed, as previously mentioned.

Theo Sackey-Mensah and Drillon Krasniqi both started in Great Yarmouth’s 2-1 defeat at Hadleigh Town whilst Marcus Gouldbourne also played 90 minutes in Dunstable Town’s 2-1 win over Corby Town.

Finally, Paul Field played 60 minutes for Aylsebury Town before being substituted in the club’s 5-0 loss at top-of-the-league Peterborough Sports.
