Stevenage Football Club can confirm that the long-awaited return to work on the North Stand is now imminent...
UK Power will switch-over to the new electricity substation on Friday 22nd February 2019, allowing work on the new North Stand to recommence immediately afterwards.
The ground and foundation works will restart w/c 25th February, with steel construction beginning late March. If these dates hold, the club expects the new North Stand to be open in August/September.
Please be aware that the power cut-off means that the Club Offices, Shop, Ticket Office and all Conference & Banqueting facilities will be closed on Friday 22nd February 2019.
With this in mind, the Club Shop and Ticket Office will be open at the earlier time of 10am on the morning of Saturday 23rd February, when Stevenage take on Northampton Town at the Lamex Stadium.
