There are now just two games left to redeem your Residents Letter for...
This season the Club launched an exciting new campaign to engage with the town by distributing 44,000 letters to its residents and those in surrounding villages.
Written by the Club’s First Team Manager Dino Maamria, the Residents Letter was aimed at encouraging the towns residents to engage with the football club, by offering two tickets for just £10.
Six of the eight games in which the offer was valid for have now passed, with just Saturday's visit of Crawley Town (3pm) and the Saturday 26th January game against Forest Green Rovers (3pm) still to come.
Overall the scheme has been deemed a success with thousands of redemptions made, new faces introduced to the football club and increased secondary spending evident on matchdays.
The club has found that 70% of those who redeemed the Residents Letter are new fans whilst 50% of those who took the offer up have re-attended a game soon after.
Stevenage Football Club CEO, Alex Tubridge says that despite this, there are still many townsfolk yet to take the offer up.
"If you still have your Residents Letter then I would encourage you to take advantage of the offer before it expires and come along and see what your local EFL Club has to offer.
"Whilst the uptake to date has been positive, we know that there are still thousands of residents within the town who have yet to redeem.
"Our matchdays are more than just about what happens on the pitch and this season we have taken further steps to improve our pre and post-match experience for supporters of all ages. At just £10 for two people, there is no better offer in town this January."
So check the cupboards and ransack the rooms to see if you have a Residents Letter lying around and take advantage by simply visiting the Club Shop upon production of your Letter with Proof of Address.
