Following month's of public investment, the Share In Our Future Equity Offer is coming to an end at 23:59 on Thursday 31st July 2019, allowing a month to further strengthen the squad before the Transfer Window closes on Monday 2nd September 2019.
Speaking about the business done so far, Wallace says that the investment to date has already had an impact.
“We have managed to bring Dean Parrett back to Stevenage from League One… Chris Stokes was in League One with Bury… we have taken Tyler Denton from Leeds who is a promising young player, so I am very pleased with what we have added," Wallace said.
“We have strengthened the Management Team, we have brought in two top quality coaches in Mark Sampson and David Oldfield. We are being very strategic about the players and management we bring in – don’t underestimate the management, it is a huge part of the investment.”
The Stevenage FC Equity Offer will close in one week, and Wallace was clear about the role the incoming investment is playing.
“It has made a difference and yes, we would like to encourage people to come in if they are on the fence. Everybody is looking for that fantastic striker or that technician that is going to change your season so every investment counts.”
