Stevenage Football Club is dedicating its Stevenage vs Bury Matchday to Women in Football...

One day after International Women's Day, Stevenage FC is proud to shine a spotlight on all Women in Football in the fight for a fairer and more equal society - whether that be from the terraces or on the pitch.

All this week we have been "Getting to Know" the Stevenage Ladies Team across Social Media and we are pleased to announce that 24 of the First Team and Reserves will be joining us on Saturday and taking to the pitch at half-time.

We will be wishing the Ladies good luck ahead of their County Cup Final vs Watford on Sunday 17th March 2019.

Ten players from the All-Girls Football Club, Stevenage Starlets side will take part in pre-match penalties on the pitch and help form the Guard of Honour.

The Stevenage FC Foundation's Girls Development Centre have been appointed Ball Girls for the game and will be walking out with the First Team players as they enter the pitch for kick-off.

In addition to all of this, free tickets have been provided for the Foundation's Girls Football Camp participants, Grassroots Clubs that are part of the Herts FA Girls Development Forum and female members of staff at the Herts FA.

Finally, the cover of Saturday's Matchday Programme is dedicated to Women in Football, featuring a young female supporter and the Stevenage Ladies players.

Tickets for Saturday's game are available from just £15 for Adults and £5 for Kids from borotickets.co.uk, the Club Shop (open Thursday's and Friday's from 10am-7pm) or from the Ticket Office/Turnstiles on the day of the game.
