Manager Dino Maamria and striker Kurtis Guthrie have both been nominated for Manager of the Month and Player of the Month, respectively...
Stevenage have enjoyed a stellar month of April, as 13 points from a possible 15 were picked up to take the club's Play-Off challenge right down to the wire.
After starting the month with a 2-0 win at Grimsby, Maamria's men followed that up with a 3-0 victory at home to Carlisle before a 4-1 away win at Port Vale. A 1-1 draw against Exeter City was the only game in April that Stevenage did not win, before arguably the performance of the season in the dramatic 2-1 win at Mansfield Town.
Kurtis Guthrie has been in the form of his life throughout this run, leading the line with authority to score seven goals and lay on three assists. Guthrie has scored in every game this month, including two braces to back up Dino Maamria's claim that his striker is the 'best in the division'.
Maamria is up against fellow Sky Bet League Two Managers Sol Campbell, Mike Flynn and Mark Cooper, whilst Guthrie faces competition in the form of Christian Doidge, Joe Day and Ryan Bowman.
