A Chinese delegation from the Hubei Province of China visited The Lamex Stadium on Thursday morning, to learn about Stevenage Football Club and the UK football industry…
The group was facilitated by the Hertfordshire LEP was made up of Senior Sports Managers, including the Hubei Province Football Association Chairman. The delegation enjoyed a presentation delivered by Stevenage FC CEO Alex Tunbridge and Head of Stevenage FC Foundation Joe Goude, which was focused around the UK football industry, before receiving a tour of The Lamex Stadium.
The Hubei Province is populated by 60 million people, with the Chinese party touring the UK to further enhance their knowledge of the game.
CEO Alex Tunbridge stated, "We were delighted to welcome the party to the Club and share our knowledge and experiences. We hope to be able to forge relationships with members of the party which can aid the Club in its future development."
