What's On: Stevenage vs Grimsby

Get all the off-the-pitch info you need to know ahead of Stevenage's clash with Grimsby Town at The Lamex Stadium on Saturday 12th October 2019...

  • Home Tickets...

Tickets for Saturday's match are available online or in-store ahead of kick-off. Please remember, all home supporters are no longer be able to pay by either cash or card direct from the turnstiles. All tickets (Paper or via Phone) must be ready to scan at the Digital Turnstiles upon entry. Click here for further information.

Supporters are to be advised that Turnstiles 13-16 (Central East Terrace) and Turnstile 21 (Old West Stand South Entrance) will both be CLOSED, meaning all Stevenage supporters will need to access the stadium through the new digital turnstiles on the A602, at the North side of the ground.

Please note, all Wheelchair Tickets for both home and away fans are SOLD OUT.

  • Away Tickets...

Grimsby supporters that haven't already purchased their tickets can do so on the day, direct from the South Stand turnstiles. Cash and card options are available.

  • Academy Day...

Stevenage Football Club is holding its latest Academy Day on Saturday as the Club encourages its supporters to show their support for its youth set-up.

The Club's Academy is positively thriving with more and more kids playing under the Academy umbrella and graduating through the system than ever before. 

Start your day from 10:30am at Shephalbury Sports Academy, as the U18s take on local rivals Barnet at 11am. The Club will be hosting a BBQ on-site as well as fun activities for kids to get involved with. Boro Bear and members of the First Team squad will be in attendance, lending their support, so do the same and don't miss out!

All members of the Academy set-up will be in attendance for the First Team match a 3pm and paraded around the pitch at Half-Time, including Scholars, Academy players in the U9-U16 age groups and Shadow Squad, Development Centre, Talent ID and Elite Development Programme participants, too.

The Club would love to see as many of its supporters at both matches and with the two sites seperated by just a mile, there is no excuse not to make a day of it.

  • North Stand Season Ticket Holders...

North Stand Season Ticket Holders are to be advised that the North Stand will not be in operation for Saturday's match.

As per previous fixtures this season, North Stand Season Ticket Holders can obtain a replacement ticket for the West Stand or East Terrace from the Club Shop or Ticket Office in advance of the match upon presentation of their Season Ticket Card.

The Club Shop/Ticket Office is open from 10am-7pm on Thursday 10th October 2019 and 10am-5pm on Friday 11th October 2019, as well as on Saturday 12th October 2019 between 10am–3pm.

  • Report Abuse

Supporters are reminded that Stevenage Football Club has an anonymous Matchday Textline that can be used to report any cases of abuse or discrimination.

Stevenage Football Club prides itself on delivering a family-friendly matchday experience for all supporters, and promotes an equal opportunities environment irrespective of people’s faith, gender, race, nationality, sexual orientation or disability.

Fans can anonymously message the Matchday Control Room direct on 07565942294 to report any signs of abuse, anti-social behaviour, foul/abusive language or discrimination within the stadium.

This information will then be processed confidentially inline with the Club’s data processes and where deemed necessary suitable action will be considered and taken.

There is absolutely no place for abuse or discrimination at The Lamex Stadium and supporters found responsible for such behaviour will face the most severe of sanctions.

The Club Shop is open from 12pm-3pm and following the final whistle. Visit us for Season Ticket Collections, as well as all Official Merchandise purchases.

  • The Broadhall Suite...

Open from 12pm and welcoming home fans only for this fixture, The Broadhall Suite is your #1 stop for food and drink prior to each home match. Match Tickets, Season Tickets or SA Cards will be needed in-order to gain access on Saturday.

The Broadhall Suite will re-open after the conclusion of the match but please note, it will close at 6pm due to a private function.

  • Beat Boro Bear Half-Time Challenge...

This season we have a BRAND NEW Half-Time challenge featuring our very own Boro Bear. Lucky participants will be tasked with dribbling to and from the edge of the centre-circle to the edge of the penalty box, scoring as many goals as possible during the process.

A leaderboard will soon be kept and updated in the Kids' Zone, where supporters will be able to apply to take part. At the end of the season, the supporter with the best score will win a FREE 2020/21 Season Ticket!

  • Kids Zone...

The Kids Zone is open from 1:30pm in the West Stand Car Park and is bigger, better and more fun than ever before!

Play Giant Connect 4, stick your head through the new Face in the Hole board, get your face painted by professinoal artist, Stephanie of WhatsaFace or take part in any of the other fun and games that are available from the Kids’ Zone at every home matchday.

The Kids’ Zone is also the place to sign up for and collect your Junior Boro Membership packs or get your Junior Boro Passport stamped.

PLUS, a selection of First Team Players visit the Kids’ Zone each week between 2pm-2:30pm, so bring your autograph book along and snap a selfie with one of your favourite players!

This Saturday’s Boro Busker is local artist and familair face, Shaun Clark!

We invite a different artist each week to entertain supporters by the Ticket Office from 1:30pm, to help build up the atmosphere prior to kick-off.

  • Parking & Travel...

Free parking is available across the A602 in Fairlands Valley car park. Please do not park in the nearby retail parks, on the grass verges or on residential streets.

For those supporters who have a designated parking space at the Lamex Stadium, please note that there will be a 10 minute traffic delay after the final whistle, to allow pedestrians to safely exit the stadium.

  • Shuttle Bus...

Once parked in town, get to the game with our Arriva Shuttle Bus service which runs from the Bus and Railway Station to The Lamex Stadium for just £1.50 return.

The bus leaves the stations at 12:54, 13:19, 13:44, 14:09 & 14:34 before the game and then at 16:40, 17:00, 17:20 & 17:45 from the stadium.

Please note not to park in the nearby retail parks. It is likely that any supporters who do so, will face a fine.
