Stevenage FC Academy's Goalkeeping Talent ID Trials are to be held on Thursday 3rd October 2019...
Following the previous success of players who have attended similar trials, the Club is pleased to host the latest Goalkeeping Trial Days at Shephalbury Sports Academy.
The Trial will take place on grass, and be overseen by Ricky Douglas (Head of Academy Recruitment), as well as Academy Goalkeeping Coaches Lewis Amos and Sergio Maldonado.
The session is taking place on the following dates:
- Thursday 3rd October: 5:30pm - 6:30pm (Under 7–Under 11)
- Saturday 5th October: 11:00am – 12:30pm (Under 12–Under 16)
(NB: Trials are now FULL for the U12-U16 group)
Players who attend and are successful may be offered one of the following options:
- A place in our Shadow Squad Programme, with sessions held on Friday evenings at Shephalbury Sports Academy. (U7-11 5pm-6:30pm / U12-16 6:30pm-8pm).
- A place in our Development Centre Programme, with sessions held on Monday evenings at Shephalbury Sports Academy. (U7-11 5pm-6pm / U12-16 6pm-7pm).
Please note, players would continue to play for their grass roots club and train with Stevenage FC once a week. Any goalkeepers who excel above and beyond may be offered the opportunity to trial for the academy.
