Community Careline open 10am-4pm from Monday to Friday

20 April 2020

Vulnerable adults in self-isolation including over 70's and people classed as 'at risk' can call 01438 222 222 between 10am-4pm from Monday-Friday to access the Community Careline and speak to our team...

See details on the services on offer below:

The Club's Foodbank team are working closely with relevant communtiy groups and local foodbanks to help collect and deliver items to those that need them most. Call if you are in self-isolation and would like to donate, or if you would like more information about local foodbanks.

The Community Service is to help local residents with everyday requirements, primarily picking up prescriptions for older residents in self-isolation. Other errands can also be run, such as posting mail, walking the dog or picking up your shopping from a click & collect service. Please note, due to safety guidelines, staff members won’t be able to enter the homes of residents and no money can be exchanged.

Thanks to the public's generous donations, as well as the support of local businesses and suppliers, fridges are fully stocked for the Community Kitchen Sandwich Service, which sends out sandwiches to the Lister Hospital staff and members of the local commmunity every day between Monday-Friday. If you or somebody you know in self-isolation needs an additional meal, please get in-touch.

Club services are under constant review as the situation develops and all staff will work within approved guidelines to ensure everybody’s safety.
