Stevenage Football Club has agreed terms with Lincoln City for Ben Coker on a one season loan deal...
The 31 year old left-back arrives at the Club with a wealth of experience, most notably as a Southend United player for seven years, where he played a key role in the Shrimper’s promotion to League One in 2015.
Coker said, “I have been down here for about a week training with the boys and I am just really happy to get it over the line. I can’t wait to get started and show everyone what I can do. For me it is about focusing on playing football and enjoying it.”
“We are really happy to announce Ben as a Stevenage player,” Alex Revell said. “He is someone that I have admired both as a player and a character for a long time and is someone that will add a huge amount of experience and leadership to our squad.
“He has a cultured left foot, is full of energy and he loves to drive forward and deliver crosses. His work rate, athleticism and character fits our DNA and he is someone that joins us from a higher level to help us as we push forward as a club.”
