The usual tradition of Stevenage FC First Team players visiting the Bluebell Ward at the Lister Hospital could not happen this year, following the COVID restrictions that are currently in place...
Despite this, the Football Club and Stevenage FC Supporters Association were able to team up in-order to make a festive delivery of gifts and Stevenage FC goods from the Club Shop, thanks to the SA's Jacky Berners and Jenny Dowden.
Stevenage supporter and Lister Hospital staff member Claire Hickey was on-hand to make the delivery, which will be handed out to the unfortunate children who are in Hospital at this time of year.
The Club and Supporters Association would like to place on record a big thank you to all the SA Members who help make the annual tradition possible, in addition to all NHS frontline workers who continue to inspire the community with their selfless work.
