The Week Ahead: Revell takes charge, Herts Senior Cup & Crawley Away

17 February 2020

Your Monday morning look at the week ahead...

Following Sunday's managerial news, Alex Revell will now take charge of First Team affairs from Monday morning, assisted by Mark Sampson and Ronnie Henry. First up for the interim Managerial Team is a trip to Crawley Town on Saturday, as Stevenage aim to cut the gap from the bottom of the table and begin an ascent to survivial. Buy your tickets for Saturday's match by clicking here.

Before that, Stevenage are involved in the second round of the Herts Senior Cup on Tuesday night for a 7:45pm kick-off against Ware FC. A mixture of youth and fringe players will be used for the tie, with tickets available from Woodson Park on the night of the game.

Signed Stevenage FC Third Shirts will be available for online auction from Wednesday afternoon, to help raise money for Stevenage Community Trust. So far over £3000 has been raised via Replica Shirt sales and the Matchday Bucket Collection against Leyton Orient, but we are eager to keep pushing this total up.

Half-Term Soccer Camps by Stevenage FC Foundation get back underway today in both Stevenage and Letchworth, with spaces still available. The Under 18s got their Merit League 1 campaign underway on Saturday with a 3-2 defeat to AFC Bournemouth. It was a valiant effort from Boro's youngsters and they return home for the first time in over a month this Saturday, when they face Northampton Town at Shephalbury Sports Academy. Fans are encouraged to show their support, with kick-off at 11am.
