The former Boro striker will continue coaching, but has come out of retirement from playing to make his services available to Graham Westley ahead of the second half of the 2019/20 season.
Revell made 55 appearances for Stevenage between January 2018 and May 2019, scoring 13 goals for the Club before joining the Stevenage FC Coaching Tree.
