Tyrone Marsh signs for Stevenage

31 July 2020

Stevenage Football Club have agreed terms for next season with Tyrone Marsh....

The 26 year old striker joins from Boreham Wood where he scored 15 goals to help the National League side make the Play-Offs.

Marsh said, “I had a chat with the Gaffer and he sold the club to me. He had been watching me for a while now and we had a good conversation so I can’t wait to get going.”

“I am really excited at the signing of Tyrone,” First Team Manager Alex Revell said. “He has had a superb season for Boreham Wood, scoring 15 goals and being a major contributor to the brilliant season they had.

“He is a superb athlete and his first thought when he receives the ball is to be positive and direct with his dribbling, to create and to score goals.

“I am delighted he has chosen to join this fantastic club to help us reach our goals and to help make him into the player we all believe he can become.

“As I have said before we are only looking to sign players with the right character, work ethic and athleticism. Tyrone fits all of these and it’s fantastic to have him on board.”

Marsh joins Inih Effiong, Elliot Osborne, Femi Akinwande, Ross Marshall, Billy Johnson and Romain Vincelot to become Boro’s seventh signing of the Summer.
