The North East based official has taken charge of 31 games this season, handing out 82 yellow cards and 8 red cards.
He last refereed Boro in 2018/19, the 1-0 win over Newport (1st January 2019) which saw four yellow cards and one red card brandished and the 3-0 defeat to Notts County (30th March 2019), which ended cardless.
He will be joined by Steven Rushton (Assistant), Oliver Bickle (Assistant) and Christopher Husband (Fourth Official).
