Despite a challenging month on the pitch, these stand-out performers make up the October Player of the Month shortlist:
- Jamie Cumming – The Chelsea loanee is nominated for the second straight month after more impressive performances between the sticks and three clean sheets.
- Scott Cuthbert - The ever-reliable skipper continues to lead by example at the heart of defence, helping contribute to some excellent defensive team performances.
- Arthur Read - October saw Read find his feet at Stevenage, becoming a mainstay in midfield and showing his technical yet tenacious game on a weekly basis.
- Romain Vincelot - After a lengthy lay-off from the game due to a devastating hip injury last year, Vincelot was back to his best last month, returning to the team and making a huge impact as a combatative midfielder.
