Stevenage have had an awkward run of fixtures, but Alex Revell’s side will be looking to bounce back with a win in the FA Cup First Round against Saturday’s visitors, Concord Rangers.
Based in Canvey Island, Essex, Concord Rangers are currently 14th in the National League South and come into this fixture off the back of midweek success, beating Dulwich Hamlet 4-1 away from home on Tuesday.
The 'Beach Boys' have enjoyed terrific success in the past decade, rising from the Essex Senior league to reach the National League South for the first time in the Club's history in 2014, where they have played ever since. Huddersfield Town Manager Danny Cowley was the architect for much of this success, leading the team from 2008-2015.
Saturday's game is only the second time ever that Concord Rangers have reached the FA Cup First Round, the first coming in 2014-15 when they took Mansfield Town to a replay.
The Stevenage squad is looking in good shape with very few injury issues to report. Only Jack Aitchison and Arthur Iontton remain absent through injury.

Stevenage boss, Alex Revell said, "It is not a free weekend because you are under pressure to win the game. It is a great game for us to have after Tuesday and we’re all looking forward to it. Concord are going to bring their challenges and I have personally been in that experience as a Conference South player, it is a big day and the players need to know that. It is going to be a tough game, mentally and physically. We have got to treat it like a league game and win."
Concord Rangers first team coach, Lee Minshull said, "You look at our year with the disruptions, we have not won many league games. Tuesday’s game was our first league win of 2020, but there has been a lot a good cup wins and a lot of draws. On Tuesday we got a concentrated and disciplined performance, so hopefully now it is drummed into the players that this is the standard we want to maintain going forward."
