Tom Pett re-signs with Stevenage

3 November 2020

Stevenage Football Club has today signed Tom Pett until the end of the season...

The 28 year old made 159 appearances for Boro between 2014 and 2018, scoring 22 goals before leaving for an undisclosed fee to Lincoln City.

Whilst at the Imps, Pett played a major part in helping the club become League Two champions in 2018/19, making 51 appearances during the promotion winning campaign.

“It is great to be back,” Pett said. “I am very pleased to get it over the line and get back to playing football which is what I enjoy doing best. I have come back a better player and a better person and hopefully I can bring my experience to the lads.”

Alex Revell said, “Tom is a player that everybody at the football club knows about. He has a great footballing brain and he’ll  add a huge amount to us in our attacking play. We are delighted to bring him back to the club where he enjoyed the best football of his career.”

Pett will wear number 26 and is available for selection in this Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup tie at home to Concord Rangers, which is available to stream live.
