21 Gold Club Lager Launched In Memory of Mitchell Cole

29 October 2020

Stevenage Football Club is proud to announce the launch of a new Club Lager brewed by Greene King 21 Gold, named in memory of former midfielder Mitchell Cole...

The 4.7% crisp lager will be available to purchase in both the Broadhall Suite and new 76 Lounge once the facilities fully reopen and will be named after the former fan favourite who sadly passed away in 2012 due to the deteriorating heart condition, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.

Since Mitchell’s passing the Club’s supporters have raised thousands of pounds for Cardiomyopathy UK, who are a leading UK based heart muscle charity. In support of the fantastic work which the Charity carries out the Club will be donating £0.10 from every pint of 21 Gold sold to help support their services.

The launch of 21 Gold comes as the Club embark on a new partnership with Greene King who are the country’s leading pub company and brewer, running over 2,700 pubs, restaurants and hotels in towns, villages and city-centre high streets across England, Wales and Scotland.

21 Gold can be bought in the 76 Lounge for this Saturday's home match against Grimsby Town. A limited number of tables are still available, which can be pre-booked by clicking here.
