Stevenage Football Club is delighted to announce that it has launched a new Player of the Month Award, sponsored by GCIS (UK) Ltd Information Solutions...
At the end of each month, supporters will be asked to vote for their Player of the Month, with the winner being awarded a bespoke trophy to add to their personal collection, presented by a representative of GCIS.
CEO Alex Tunbridge said, “We are delighted to welcome GCIS on board as our Player of the Month sponsor. They have been a great partner of the Club helping support our IT service and project operations on a daily basis for many years.”
Paul Griffin, GCIS Director added “As a local business based in Stevenage we have always been passionate about supporting our local community. We are absolutely delighted to sponsor 'Player of the Month' for this season and proud to invest much needed support, at a time when the community needs it most.”
Supporters can now vote for their September Player of the Monthout of the following shortlist:
- Jamie Cumming – After joining on-loan from Chelsea in the Summer, expectations were high for Cumming who has already shown why he is so highly rated after an outstanding opening month of the season, contributing with vital saves in every match and one clean-sheet.
- Elliott List – List has had a superb start to the season for Stevenage, playing all 270 league minutes and contributing with a goal and two assists from the opening three games.
- Luther James-Wildin – It has been an equally impressive start to the campaign for James-Wildin, who has produced strong performances in defence and attack, including a delightful goal in the 3-0 win against Oldham.
- Elliot Osborne – Osborne has taken to life as a Stevenage midfielder with flying colours, a constant presence in the heart of the team and playing a home league debut to remember, as a goal and assist saw him win Man of the Match.
