The Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce have successfully launched a new Foundation to help assist budding Hertfordshire entrepreneurs...
Boro Chairman Phil Wallace has agreed to become a Founder Member of the Foundation and last week listened to pitches from 26 local businesses, along with other Founder members and supporters of the Foundation.
Phil Wallace has been the Group CEO of Lamex Food Group for almost 40 years and has overseen growth from a small single office in East London with 3 employees, to an International Food Group with 22 offices around the world and over £1.2 Billion in annual sales.
Recently awarded the British Empire Medal for services to Association Football and the Herts Community, he said, "I am delighted to be part of the Founder Group and it’s fascinating and invigorating to see new people bringing their ideas to market. The Chamber are to be congratulated on this initiative, which I am sure will benefit so many local business people."
