Stevenage Football Club celebrated the EFL Day of Action 2021 by inviting supporters, volunteers and Stevenage FC Foundation participants to share how the Club is supporting its community...
Video messages were shared from Stevenage FC Foundation's Walking Football, Intro to Exercise, Strength & Balance and Get Set to Go sessions, Stevenage FC Women's GDC participants and First Team goalkeeper, as well as a message from the men's Captain and Manager themselves.
"My Football Club would like to send a massive thank you to all the volunteers up and down the country that have taken the time out of their lives to help others during this pandemic".
"Since retiring, my Football Club has helped me with physical activity, meeting new people and learning new things. During lockdown, they have been great with quizzes and fitness sessions over Zoom. Wonderful".
"My Football Club has benefitted me by giving Hannah the opportunity to run Intro to Exercise, which I have been doing for about three and a half years now. I do it with my mum, we both attend the classes and it has helped us a lot. Hannah is amazing and inspirational, as long as she keeps the classes going we'll keep attending.
Another class Hannah does is Strength & Balance, and I take my nan to that. That is three generations that Hannah is really helping. She's amazing".
