Stevenage FC Foundation is delighted to announce the launch of its first traineeship scheme, running from May 24th 2021 to July 23rd 2021...
This summer, Stevenage FC Foundation will take motivated 19-24 year olds and work to develop their employability skills. This programme will take a well-rounded approach to give the learners the best possible set of skills to thrive in the workplace or move onto further education.
Over the course of the traineeship, students will spend their time focused on four main areas;
- Work Experience in a local business
- Skills 4 Work - A hand crafted course to make the learner aware of the talents they possess
- Supplementary Qualifications that will support them in any workplace and if needed
- Functional Skills in Maths and English
Traineeships are completely free and available to anyone aged 19-24 without a full Level 3 Qualification, equivalent to 2 or more A levels. Potential trainees must also be unemployed or working less than 16 hours a week for the duration of the traineeship.
The programme is limited to small number of learners per cohort, and spaces will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
