Stevenage Football Club have agreed terms for the return of goalkeeper Sacha Bastien…
The 26-year-old joins Alex Revell’s squad, adding to the goalkeeping resources alongside Joseph Anang.
The Frenchman returns to The Lamex Stadium where he spent the 2019/20 season, having experienced League One football last season at Gillingham.
“I am delighted to be back”, Bastien said. “I feel like I left with unfinished business two seasons ago, and I know I can do more for the Club. The season finished in an unexpected way last time, but now we are here to make it right.”
First Team Manager Alex Revell said, “When Sacha was at the Club previously, his attitude was a shining light. Since then, he’s had another year in England at a League One club to learn and develop as a player and we’re looking forward to welcoming him back”.
Originally named as a trialist, Sacha Bastien first minutes back in a Stevenage shirt came on Saturday, keeping a cleansheet in Boro's 2-0 win at Dover Athletic.
