Pym joined Posh in 2019 and made 45 appearances last season in their promotion winning season, followed by seven appearances in the Championship this season.
After coming through the youth setup at Exeter City, the 26-year-old goalkeeper played over 150 times for the Grecians under current Boro boss Paul Tisdale.
