Craig Hicks has been appointed Match Referee for Saturday’s Second Round FA Cup tie between Stevenage FC and Yeovil Town…
The referee has taken charge of seventeen games so far this campaign, handing out 48 yellow cards with three reds. His most recent fixture was Tuesday night’s Papa John’s Trophy fixture between Leyton Orient and MK Dons. One yellow card was dished out along with a red for The Dons’ Troy Parrott. Despite being a regular in EFL officiating, Saturday’s fixture will be Hicks’ first Stevenage game of the season.
The last time Hicks was Match Referee for a Stevenage fixture was last season as Salford came to The Lamex for a Sky Bet League Two clash, defeating Boro 1-0 after a goal in the opening two minutes. Three yellow cards were handed out in that game.
Hicks will be joined by Assistants Kevin Howick and Alex James with Paul Howard as Fourth Official.
